6th Annual Bow Hunt Weekends
October 3 through December 21, 2014
Registration begins: August 5, 2014, 8am

Williamson County seeks qualified bow hunters for weekend hunts on a county-owned property. The property is undeveloped parkland known as the River Ranch County Park and is 1011+ acres located southwest of Liberty Hill, Texas on CR 282.

  • The weekends for the hunts are based on the Texas Parks and Wildlife Hunting Regulations for Williamson County for the 2014 season. All applicable game laws will be in effect. Some weekends excluded; see list below.
  • A fee of $750 per weekend for groups of six (6) hunters or less. A group representative can register and pay for the group. One hunt group per weekend. Refunds will not be issued.
  • Eligible species under this hunt will be white-tail deer, feral hogs and incidental exotic deer/antelope species. No crossbows allowed at this time.
  • Ground blinds (and seats) are provided at specific locations to protect the integrity of the property and safety of the hunters. There are no facilities for overnight camping.

Hunt periods for the designated weekends will be Friday afternoon, Saturday, and Sunday morning.

Registrations & Fees: $750.00

  • Accepted forms of payment: cash, check, money order, or credit cards (American Express, Visa, Discover, and MasterCard).
  • A completed registration form must be turned in with your payment. Forms can be dropped off at our office, faxed, mailed, or emailed. Payment due within 5 business days of making reservation.

Williamson County is hosting its 4th Annual Learn to Fish event in the Southwest Williamson County Regional Park, 3005 CR 175, on Saturday, April 26, 2014, from 8 a.m. to noon. This is an incredible family-friendly event where children where children of all ages will be able to spend time in the great outdoors learning various fishing tips and techniques from local experts.
