| Description
|
The CR 401 Reconstruction project will tie CR 401 into US 79. The project also includes expanding the existing two-lane CR 401 to a four-lane roadway in order to provide more capacity for vehicles to safely travel in the area. The CR 401 Reconstruction project is part of the County’s Long-Range Transportation Plan, which is intended to plan for current and future growth by maintaining a high level of mobility and quality of life for residents and communities.

The County selected HNTB as the engineer for this project. Project design has been completed and right-of-way acquisition and utility relocation are underway. James Construction is the contractor.
