Williamson County to Impact Lives with Third Phase of ARPA Funding

The Williamson County Commissioners Court approved a comprehensive plan for the remaining American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds during their Commissioners Court meeting this week. The plan addressed critical needs that have been identified in communities, including an increase in homelessness, need for mental health and substance abuse services and domestic violence.

Williamson County Reaffirms AAA Bond Rating

Williamson County has once again affirmed its AAA bond rating, the highest rating possible, with both rating agencies Fitch Ratings and Standard & Poor Global. Securing a bond rating is the first step prior to issuing debt. On March 21, the Commissioners Court approved $150 million in projects which will be funded by a Tax Anticipation Note for road projects and the expansion/renovation of the Juvenile Justice Center.
