Williamson County Emergency Medical Services will be working in conjunction with Austin-Travis County EMS to conduct a child car safety and booster seat fitting event for area residents from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, February 2. The safety seat check will take place at the Leander Fire Station 1, 201 North Brushy Street, in Leander. The inspection event is offered at no cost to participants and is available by appointment only. Please call 512-943-1264 to schedule an appointment.

Certified child passenger safety technicians will assist families with car seat safety inspections, checking for expired seats and any recall information, along with educating families on recommended car seat use.
