The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter (WCRAS) is celebrating an extraordinarily successful start to the year – 95 animals were returned home during January 2023. That is the most lost dogs and cats ever returned to their loving homes in a single month.
The Williamson County Commissioners Court approved changes to the law enforcement and corrections salary charts as a result of a salary study comparing Williamson County salaries to others in the area. The increases will take effect Feb. 3, 2023.
Williamson County Precinct 3 Commissioner Valerie Covey was joined by members of the public and others to break ground on the CR 245 road project. The project consists of reconstructing the existing two-lane CR 245 to an interim three-lane roadway with a center turn lane and right turn lanes at specific locations.
