The Southwest Bypass Extension will extend the two-lane Southwest Bypass from Wolf Ranch Parkway to SH 29. This is the final phase of the Southwest Bypass project. Segment 1 of the project, which included a new two-lane roadway from IH-35 to 3,100 feet west, was completed in fall 2018. Segment 2 of the project, which completed the roadway from RM 2243 to IH-35, was completed in May 2020.
